#CatchThemYoung GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE CONSERVATION INITIATIVE GOMBE STATE; NIGERIA. In commemoration of independence day celebration, the GECCI, Gombe State, had organised a lecture to young school children, on "CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION", which was held at GDSS Wuro Biriji Akko, Gombe State. It's first of it is kind in the state where a lot of environmental experts have impacted a lot to the participants. Seedlings were equally being distributed to all the students that participated. The schools that benefited from this program were Galaxy International Academy, City Integrated Academy, Khausar Academy, Flying Colours, Aqsat Academy, Gombe Academy, GDSS Wuro Biriji, GJSS Bomala, GJSS Wuro Juli, Manarul Huda Academy etc. The state Coordinator urged the beneficiaries to make use of the knowledge and be a good ambassadors of this Global Initiative by putting a collaborative effort in order to mitigate the effects of Climate change in Gombe, Nigeria and world at large. Many other GECCI Ambassadors and Members in Gombe State had graced the Program. Certificates of participation were presented to the beneficiaries that marks the end of the program. Dayyabu Musa
