Farming is the backbone of a country and coffee farming contributes to the well being of the economy.USAID and Blue marble partnering together could help farmers by enhancing climate resilient coffee, which will increase their income.Coffee creates job opportunities for the young people and this reduces the crime rate in the country.Most farmers are not aware or have little knowledge on Insurance coverage against climate change.Protecting against climate related risks like drought, floods by Blue marble projects could help a great deal.
