Toxic chemicals banned by EU still in use in UK

Several harmful chemicals that have been banned by EU since Brexit are still allowed to be used in the UK. Campaigners say delays to the UK’s chemical regulations scheme mean, promises made by the Ministers after Brexit vote may have been broken and this puts public health at risk. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2023/sep/15/toxic-chemicals-banned-by-eu-since-brexit-still-in-use-in-uk

This situation underscores the need for stronger enforcement of environmental regulations and the potential risks associated with regulatory divergence.
