🌪️ Tongaat in KwaZulu-Natal, South #Africa was hit by a destructive #tornado on June 3, 2024, resulting in more than 1,200 people being displaced.

Extensive damage was caused to homes and schools, and numerous areas experienced power outages. Tragically, six lives were lost in Durban. The organization Gift of the Givers has joined the relief operations.

🌍 Current #climate changes are causing catastrophic consequences, necessitating an immediate #global #scientific collaboration to establish an International #ClimateAlert and Rescue Service.
