          Alberta's early exit from coal power, eliminating its 33.5% share in 2019 to 0%, significantly improves air quality. By reducing emissions from coal-fired plants, the province mitigates smog and particulate pollution, promoting cleaner air and better environmental health for its residents. It is absolutely beautiful

              @Virginiah_391 And props go to them for not only only coming up with a viable plan to ditch coal, but for also following up on the plan. Some countries and provinces make such huge promises but act not on them, Alberta seems different in that regard.

                  @elizbeth_gathigia We would only expect the whole of Canada to aim to ditch coal and fossil fuels fully within a considerable timeline. Can it be done? Of course, where there is a will there is a way and I am confident they can make it so.
