Europe's largest charging station swallows 1,500 cars (per day)

MILAN. Charging stations that are tailored to the needs of the car owner are the future. That's the view in Italy, where southern Europe's largest fast-charging station for electric cars has just been inaugurated. At the same time, more and more low-intensity charging stations are being built in city centers and residential areas.
It is as big as it is fast, the new charging point for electric cars and hybrids at Milanofiori Nord in Assago, just south of Milan. There, 32 cars can be charged simultaneously and in just fifteen minutes they are charged enough to drive 300 kilometers. In one day, 1,500 cars can be charged.

@rosebellendiritu Such stations being built around the world would dramatically tilt the scales in favour of electric cars. Hopefully they have the finances and will to do so

@walter_lungayi Absolutely correct. The uptake of electric cars in the South of Europe are going to skyrocket. Just hoping this will havea ripple effect across all continents.

This is exactly the kind of infrastructure we need to accelerate the transition to electric mobility.

@mercy_nduta_984 Agreed. With this kind of tech, you don't have to sell electric cars to people. They'll sell themselves as everyone will want to reap the rewards
