Youth Leadership in Climate Change. The Jade Hameister Example I find it very inspiring

At 16, Jade Hameister became the youngest person to ski unsupported from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole, completing the Polar Hat-Trick. Her expeditions across the Greenland ice sheet and to the North Pole transformed her into a passionate environmental advocate.
Jade witnessed the dramatic effects of climate change firsthand: receding ice, retreating glaciers, and a transforming landscape. The Arctic Sea ice has shrunk by 40% since the 1970s, the Greenland ice sheet loses 270 billion tones annually, and the Antarctic ice sheet sheds 150 billion tones each year.
Determined to inspire action, Jade’s journeys now highlight the urgent need for climate action, especially among youth. She believes young people, with their creativity and fresh perspectives, can drive innovative solutions.
Jade’s story shows that small actions can have a significant impact. Today’s youth must lead the charge for a sustainable future, preserving the beauty of our planet’s polar regions for generations to come.

This part in the attached article inspired me more, she actually knows we don't have time to wait...And her sentiments speak volumes! "The challenge remains significant, and time is running out. The call to action is clear: the youth of today must be the torchbearers of climate action, the driving force behind the change we so urgently need. Let us not shy away from our responsibility; instead, let's seize the day with courage and resilience to ensure that the beauty and wonder of our planet's polar regions remain a source of inspiration for generations to come"

Youths have so much power to call out for correct actions. They only need to be reading from the same page.
