Cambridge University's students voted for a solely vegan menu across its catering services
I think this is a great climate week for the University of Cambridge. After deciding on installing solar panels on the roof of the King's College Chapel, Cambridge University might (soon I hope) introduce vegan menus in its cafes and canteens. On Monday, Cambridge University students voted for a solely vegan menu across its catering services and the student union is now in discussion with catering services about removing all animal products from cafes and canteens.
This is not guaranteed yet as Cambridge University's administration needs now to approve and implement these propositions by students. But I am nonetheless sending this climate love to make the university implement it!
The university catering services have already made important strides, for example in 2016 when it removed beef and lamb from all its menus.
