Land van Horne The Land van Horne Foundation - At Home in Care Netherlands has signed the Green Deal 3.0: 'Working Together on Sustainable Care'. This means that we will work together with other healthcare organisations, governments, health insurers, banks and suppliers to make the healthcare sector more sustainable. The Green Deal 3.0 contains five themes that Land van Horne will work with. Daniëlle van de Laar-Buringa, environmental and energy coordinator, is taking the lead at Land van Horne. "In the coming years we will actively focus on health promotion, increasing knowledge & awareness and reducing our CO2 emissions, primary raw material use and environmental impact due to medication (use)". "Making the healthcare sector more sustainable is extremely important," says Marjon Van de Mortel, chairman of the Board of Directors at Land van Horne. "The sector uses energy, food and raw materials on a large scale to provide care. This includes Land van Horne with 17 (residential) care centers and home care in the municipalities of Weert, Nederweert, Leudal, Cranendonck and Someren. Reducing sustainability through sustainability we the effect of our care and services on the environment and we take responsibility for a sustainable future."
