Summary: If we continue with our business and emissions as usual, then by this decade, humanity will be condemned to misery. On the other hand, if we can cut our global emissions by 50 percent, then we can not only avoid that situation of misery and loss of life, but we will be living in a world better than our current world. This is why we are in the decisive decade.
