Carbon monoxide (CO) emissions from Amazon wildfires are a strong indicator of the rapid spread of fires, especially under conditions of low humidity and very dry soil. These factors create an environment conducive to the quick ignition and expansion of wildfires, making CO emissions a critical signal of fire intensity and spread. Are we able to prevent it? Can we make global efforts in firefighting? Can we irrigate forests?
