THE CLERGY CALLS ON KENYANS TO PLANT MORE TREES TO HIT PRESIDENT'S TARGET OF 30% FOREST COVER

https://youtu.be/RjumfHlhpB0 On Sunday 26TH a group of pastor's under a the umbrella Sauti Mashinani ( a Kenyan group aimed at reaching the vulnerable in the society) were at mathira consitituency karatina kianjogu primary where they mobilized residents of wariluta location to plant More than 1000 trees in the school and it's environs. LED by Bishop Dr Josphat Njoroge they said they Will go All over the 47 counties to mobilize Kenyans to take advantage of rains and plant more trees as per president Ruto directive to achieve 30percent forest cover. They said as they go all over kenya they have met people who cant afford a meal a day which they urged the government to consider releasing releaf food to help Kenyans as they continue finding long lasting solutions. https://youtu.be/RjumfHlhpB0

            Faith based organizations can easily influence people to take care of the environment, this is because of the regard given to them by members of the society. Nice to see them encouraging people to plant more trees as a way of environmental restoration.
