ORGANIZING TECHNOLOGY FOR CLIMATE HACKATHON

Moringa School, founded to close Africa's skills gap, educates high-potential job seekers in technology and connects them with local and international tech firms. The school in collaborations with Jacob’s Ladder Africa organized Technology for Climate Hackathon.
The winners of the Technology for Climate Hackathon, hosted by Jacob's Ladder Africa and Moringa School, were announced. The system decentralizes supply chain procedures and gives farmers more information and tools to boost output. 60% of Africans are under 25, thus they can lead innovation to fight climate change and solve African problems.
“Our partnership with Jacob's Ladder Africa shows how technology can inspire climate change solutions. Moringa School graduates more tech talent to meet the demand. Snehar Shah, Moringa School CEO, says the hackathon generated some fantastic ideas, including a platform for urban gardening, organic waste management, and more.
