Sometimes using wood is a more environmentally friendly alternative

Forest conservation and reforestation are important solutions to the climate change crisis, as trees are good at capturing and storing CO2 from the atmosphere.

At the same time, while conserving trees and initiating reforestation to keep trees is essential, trees can also be a valuable resource to replace less environmentally friendly alternatives.

This means that wood can in certain situations be used as a way to mitigate climate change, even though trees need to be cut down.
