Elizabeth Vaah's post

This is what irresponsible mining is doing to waterbodies in Ghana. This is the Juen Lagoon on the southern border of Ghana and La Cote D'Ivoire. Once crisp, clear lagoon has been poisoned and rendered useless for local communiies that rely on it. The Government and leaders of Ghana pay lip service because they are mostly complicit. We need local voices amplified so we can avert this existential threat.

Such a shame...this is a sad story of how our ecosystems are being rendered harmful for humans and animals by individuals who value profit over people

This is very sad. @Elizabeth, I know sometimes its difficult to fight for the environment but we do the best because somewhere in lies someone who can help with the solution.
