In July 2024, following two scorching days, Météo-France issued an orange alert for thunderstorms in 15 departments. Severe storms with heavy rain and winds reaching 70 km/h struck regions from central to northeastern France, including the Massif Central. The streets in Clermont-Ferrand were inundated, and hail on the A75 highway caused extensive damage to vegetation and signs. Some households experienced power outages. 🌪️🌧️

    Precipitation is probably increasing as glaciers melt. But here, the deadline is already approaching. So I think it would be a good idea to just provide disaster evacuation training.
