Targeting high carbon grids with renewable energy, I have made a small investment in solar panels on my property in France, mainly for environmental reasons. The problem is that France is a low carbon electricity grid so I may not have reduced my carbon emissions very much if at all. My idea, which may have already been discussed, is would it be possible to set up a group that invests in renewable energy in high carbon electricity grids such as Poland Australia etc etc? That way each dollar spent would have much more impact than investing in other low carbon grids? I'm just throwing my idea on the table. and not sure where/how to start.
