Tanzanians only need energy not to keep environment
A majority of Tanzanians rely on wood and agricultural residues for their energy needs, causing deforestation and environmental degradation. The problem, of course, doesn’t stop there. Deforested areas no longer provide a home for wildlife leading to biodiversity loss and are also susceptible to soil erosion.

There is dire need for Tanzanians to look around and see what deforestation has done to other nations. Killing the environment for survival does not help at all.

@winnie_nguru Indeed the reigning government should take drastic action on his matter. Illegal timber logging business is also on the increase in TZ and that is a contributing factor to the high rate of deforestation.That has got to be tamed by having stringent rules take root.

This is sad, the needs to be more sensitization on the adverse effects of deforestation. More action needs to be taken to educate the people of Tanzania on eco-friendly sources of energy.
