🧪 Chemical process turns non-recyclable PVC into useful materials

New research from the University of Michigan has targeted one of the most difficult materials to reuse, namely PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and created a chemical process which can turn this previously non-recyclable material into something useful.

    PVC is one of the most used plastics globally and formerly dubbed not recyclable with efforts to recycle it hampered by its harmful components; thus its reusability will ease the pollution to the environment from this material. Kudos!
