And together we've planted over 150,000 trees. One tree is planted for every climate review written to an organization that is Open for Climate Dialogue™.
How does this work?

Hydrogen, synthetic fuels made from captured carbon, "sustainable aviation fuel" - biofuel - however you cut it flying a jet requires energy density like almost nothing else. We probably need Hyperloop or high-speed trains to cover 90% of medium-range travel, restricting jet travel to long-distance for essential journeys not practical by any other means. Even that will become unsupportable. As other sources of carbon decline, aviation will approach 100% of emissions and something will have to give.

@john_thomas Yes, our train systems should be developed and should become the norm! Taking a plane (even "green") should only be for essential trips

The aviation industry is already choking the environment with high carbon emissions and so injecting more planes into the market means that extinction is lurking sooner and hastier that earlier thought. Air travel is very adequate but at this era of climate catastrophies, ONLY news of electric fleets would sound reasonable and not otherwise.

@peter_kamau I agree 100%! Until we have carbon-free planes, we should reduce to the minimum air travel!!!
