I met Maxime Renaudin in 2008 and was struck by his passion for tree planting as a citizen solution to fight climate change. Now his planting community and platform Tree-Nation has become one of the largest in the world with 44 million trees planted (on a mission to plant 1 trillion trees by 2050). I encourage you to check how easy it is for individuals and companies to contribute to reforestation. Companies can offset their teams' CO2 footprint and also link tree planting to different promotions, e.g. The Economist campaign to plant a tree for every new subscription generated 160k trees.
