Not relating to the food's temperature at all, Cool Food Meals are food items that have a smaller carbon footprint than other traditional meals. To get technical, breakfast meals must be responsible for less than 3.59 kg of CO2e per portion, and lunch/dinner meals must be responsible for less than 5.38 kg of CO2e per portion. These amounts mean that the meals already meet 2030 CO2e goals drawn up by the World Resources Institute. . Eating green doesn't have to mean just eating salads either.
