Climate love

Climate love to the government of China for planning to attain decarbonization goals.

Over the last year, China has taken significant steps to reduce its emissions and dependency on coal. In 2020, China's carbon dioxide emissions fell by 1.7% compared to the previous year, marking the first decline in emissions in several years. China's efforts to reduce emissions include transitioning to cleaner energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower. The country is also investing in energy storage technologies to ensure a steady supply of electricity from these renewable sources. Additionally, China is gradually reducing its reliance on coal, which has been the primary source of energy for the country for decades. The country's progress in reducing emissions and moving towards cleaner energy sources is a positive step towards a more sustainable future.

There's little trust in China over it's NetZero goals since everyday news prove otherwise.

China's greenhouse gas emissions have been in decline since2021 but could still be some way from their peak, with the country's policies still not fully aligned with long-term goals to limit temperature increases.

One thing I like about China is how serious they take issues and actions.

This is meagre effort or even otherwise greenwashing. It's false that China has reduced dependency on Coal given the fact that their coal trade ties with Australia just got revived.
