Nuclear for Climate is an initiative gathering nuclear professionals and scientists from over 150 societies and associations, with the goal of opening a dialogue with policymakers and the public about the necessity of including nuclear energy among the carbon-free solutions to climate change. It was co-founded by the ENS, the French Nuclear Society (SFEN) and the American Nuclear Society (ANS) in 2015, ahead of the COP21 conference in Paris. Our Message Climate change is a global issue that requires coordinated action across nations, organizations, and individuals. Nuclear Power is a low-carbon, reliable, affordable and abundant energy source that, alongside renewables, provides the fastest path to achieving Net Zero by 2050 and a secure energy future. The multiple peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology will also help us fulfil the UN Sustainable Development Goals and achieve a sustainable future for all. There at cop27 now as well and you can find them on different platforms. https://netzeroneedsnuclear.com/
