Climate warning

True agenda shining through

Of course now we are starting to hear the phrases "energy security for the transition " "role of fossil fuels in the transition " "need for a phase down of fossil fuels not phase out" why are we being hoodwinked by language of fossil fuel moguls who have been given leadership of the most important climate talks of our time.. of course there is an agenda. Please stop all fossil fuel subsidies, implement a heavy duty tax on fossil fuels and use the money to build renewable infrastructure and help countries affected by climate change...This will help the 'transition' and 'phase down' with a bit more impetus.

Fuel subsidies need to be put an end and such funds directed towards cleaner energies

Fossil fuel subsidies are just encouragement to keep using unclean fuels. They need to be stopped now

I agree fossil fuels subsidies must be stopped to discourage the burning of the fossil fuels. COP 28 President Sultan Al Jaber must stay true to the course.

It's concerning that fossil fuel moguls have been given leadership roles in climate talks, and their true agenda is starting to show through the language being used. It's time to stop all fossil fuel subsidies and heavily tax them to fund renewable infrastructure and aid countries affected by climate change. The transition to renewable energy needs more impetus.
