$750 million for hydrogen projects across 24 states.

The U.S. Department of Energy has earmarked $750 million to support hydrogen projects spanning 24 states, aiming to bolster the nation’s capacity for generating and utilizing clean hydrogen.
This initiative aligns with President Joe Biden’s administration’s commitment to reducing reliance on fossil fuels and curbing emissions in industries traditionally resistant to decarbonization.

Surely this has to make a huge difference and lead to a shift in energy practices in the US. The financial commitment alone is enough to swing carbon emission numbers once these projects are operational. We can only hope they are implemented fast to help us beat the 1.5 degree goal and save the planet
