🌧️ On the 3rd of October, 2024, heavy downpours struck Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand, resulting in significant floods and landslides. An astonishing 85 mm of rain was recorded within just 24 hours, leading to the closure of roads and damage to infrastructure. A red alert for intense rainfall has been issued for North Otago, Dunedin, and coastal Clutha until Friday evening.

The climate is changing rapidly, and it is impacting us all. It is time to come together and take action! Let's combine our scientific knowledge on a global scale to establish an International Scientific Center for climate response. Together, we can set up a Worldwide Catastrophe Alert and Rescue Service. Humanity must unite to ensure our survival! 🌍💪
