In the Netflix movie “Don’t look up” a big comet threatens do destroy Earth as we know it. It’s no secret that the comet in the movie is a metaphor for climate change, both the director/writer Adam Mckay and the actors have said it. This movie does a really good job showing how media, leaders & people respond to such a threat. The similarities to how the world reacts to the climate threat can easily be recognized. “Don’t look up” gives attention to and discusses the most important subject of our time in a smart and entertaining way.
