Macron launches "ecological plans" to end France’s use of fossil fuels by 2030
France president Emmanuel Macron has unveiled plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55% and dependency on fossil fuels, coal, petrol and gas from 60 % to 40 %. His plans also include boosting electric vehicles production, installing new offshore windfarms projects and building batteries factories.
