EVENSOL LLC, a renewable energy project developer, has successfully launched two RNG facilities in North Carolina—the Foothills Renewables Project and the Upper Piedmont Renewables Project. These facilities, operational in Caldwell and Person Counties, convert landfill gas into RNG to fuel commercial fleet vehicles. Each project is set to produce 500,000 dekatherms of RNG annually, totaling 1 million Dth. With a combined investment of over $110 million, Duke Energy is an equity investor, and funding includes nearly $73 million in USDA-guaranteed loans arranged by Greater Commercial Lending. EVENSOL aims to benefit the environment and provide renewable energy for North Carolina residents.https://www.bioenergy-news.com/news/two-rng-facilities-now-operational-in-north-carolina-landfills/

That's great news! It's important to find sustainable solutions for waste management, and RNG facilities can help convert landfill gas into a useful energy source. This not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also provides a renewable energy option. North Carolina is taking a step in the right direction towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.
