🌧️ In August 2024, the Indian states of Gujarat and southern Rajasthan faced devastating downpours, leading to the tragic loss of at least 17 lives, with 11 people still missing. The India Meteorological Department has issued red and orange alerts. The heaviest rainfall was recorded in Dausa, Rajasthan, with a staggering 144 mm. Overflowing reservoirs and rivers pose an imminent threat of further flooding.
