NextEra Energy and Entergy Unveil 4.5GW Solar Energy Plan

NextEra Energy and Entergy will develop 4.5 GW solar and storage projects over five years.
Entergy operates 14 solar projects with 585MW capacity and two solar-plus-storage projects with 101MW capacity. This partnership will aid them deliver affordable, renewable energy to customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
The companies have 1.7GW of renewable energy projects in progress. Entergy plans to add 2.9GW of solar capacity by 2028 and to complete four solar-plus-wind projects, totalling 4.9GW, by 2029.
