'Walking Billboards' for Woodside: Parents want end to fossil fuel Company sponsorship of Wa Nippers.

Parents in Western Australia are expressing their opposition to the sponsorship deal between Woodside, a fossil fuel company, and Surf Life Saving WA (SLSWA), which includes the naming rights for Nippers, a junior surf lifesaving program. A group called Sustain Surf, composed of passionate surf lifesavers, is leading a campaign to have the deal scrapped, with support from Greenpeace Australia Pacific. A Greenpeace petition titled “Free the Nippers” has gained nearly 5,000 signatures.
