Ulleråker is Uppsala's next major urban development project. Construction has just started and should be completed in 2035. Until then, the plan is for there to be 6,000 new homes and a sustainable district where the majority of trips will be made via sustainable means of transport. The first stage is called Centrala Ulleråker and two mobility houses are planned here. - We have a goal for the urban development project in Centrala Ulleråker that 80 percent of all trips must be made with sustainable means of transport. Then smart solutions like this mobility house are required, which make it easy for both residents and visitors to make climate-smart choices in their travel, says Erik Pelling (S), chairman of the municipal board.
