Commission has allocated over €65 million from the EU Innovation Fund to support 17 innovative clean tech projects. These funds aim to assist European companies, including small businesses, in introducing cutting-edge technologies to the market within energy-intensive industries, renewable energy, and energy storage. The chosen projects span various sectors, emphasizing the manufacturing of components for renewable energy and materials such as glass, ceramics, and construction. Additionally, the projects address critical areas like energy storage, solar energy, renewables, iron and steel, refineries, chemicals, cement and lime, and hydrogen, contributing to the ongoing fight against climate change.
