According to an annual audit conducted by the campaign group Surfers Against Sewage Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and PepsiCo have been found to be the worst packaging polluters in the UK. The audit inspected over 30700 individuals polluting items collected over a 12 month period ending on 5th June 2023 and found that 12 campanies were responsible for more than two-thirds ( 70%)of branded pollution collected during that year . Coca-Cola is ranked the first leading polluter, followed by McDonald's second and PepsiCo is the third. https://getsnap.link/FtNiFVQTmpj
