Due to increased demand for wood to make wooden boats for fishermen in Uganda. There was a high demand for the tree species from the Congo forest which leads to increased deforestation. EcoBrixs made a boat 100% from recycled waste plastic from L. Victoria shores. The boat is a sign of how the lake can be easily cleaned and the product useful to the society

It's a good solution to some extent,but l tend to prefer we refuse using plastics rather than living with the intention to recycle.The fact is that the boat remains a product of plastics and when it's no longer in use ,the components of plastics will have the same effects on our planet.

I hope you will pull it out of the water when not in use because it will still give off micro plastics and toxic resin since it is made from fossil fuel.

Nice one!. Lake Victoria is a fresh water lake but extremely polluted, any action to salvage it is much appreciated.
