Let's make miracles happen in these 3 days. Your financial gift is very valuable for me My name is Mariam Avakova, a young professional, youth advocate, and educator, from Georgia. I am writing to ask for your support in attending #COY17 Youth Climate Conference (1-5 November) and the subsequent #COP27 Climate Conference (6-14 November), which will be held in Sharm El Sheikh. https://app.wedonthavetime.org/posts/4d4481ce-4d97-4208-9ce1-da6292607b3f?utm_source=url-copy%26utm_medium=wdht-web-app-share%26utm_campaign=mariam_avakova

The "heart" of our oxygen- Ocean- The miracle, multi-diverse self-world on the planet. To comprehend, feel, and maintain the ocean's safety, we must understand and pay attention to the ocean's unique "pulse system".

Dear Eco Friends, Since 1992 UNCED at Rio and Earth Day Network 2000, and WDT since 2020, I am seriously concerned about the future of CC. The positive thing is we are converging, the negative being the widening gap between the rich and poor. Even today, arms sale from the developed world is being sent to Africa. How can we keep quiet on these real issues of concern for the majority of people in the world? Prof JV, India e-mail: [email protected] m

What a #GreenWashing Festival!! - AES is presenting themselves as 'green', while 80% of their electricity is generated by fossil fuels. - Microsoft is still selling it's cloud & AI services to the fossil fuel industry to extract the very last bit of climate killing oil, gas and coal (just like Google and Amazon)! - Planting Trees is not a Climate Solution to offset emissions - they take to long time (which we don't have) to grow, they don't replace Ecosystems like a forrest, they need space (which we don't have) and they tend to burn a lot lately...releasing all that carbon back into the air. I am very disappointed about @Verge @WeDontHaveTime for bringing not the leaders of climate action, but the biggest GreenWashers together!!

@Chris_113 companies are doing both good and bad Actions. Verge is focusing on good action. Microsoft does a lot of good Climate Action and planting trees is good Action but can never replace emission cuts as explained on stage.

By 2050, there may be more plastic in the oceans than fish, threatening the survival of our marine life. But it is also bad for our health too. Microplastics are being eaten by the fish and are now part of the food we eat. We should all try to use less plastic. I think sometimes our actions can feel like a drop of water in the big black sea, but, believe me, it can all make a difference! "In this clip made by Mariam Avakova, she talks about the work young people in Georgia do to raise awareness about Marine Litter Pollution.
