Air pollution deaths from fossil fuel per year is 3.6 million at the moment. Some of these deaths are due to venting, the cleaning of fossil fuel power stations, when the wind blows out to sea. After some campaigning venting warnings are given by UK government when errors made in wind forecast mean the badly polluted air is blown in the wrong direction...
