I have to say....China has been in the media now and for some good reasons. I am glad in the steps that they are making to address the climate crisis.

A good progress and I believe China can do much better if it ends it's coal production

The reported structural decline in China’s emissions is encouraging. It suggests effective policies and measures are in place. However, sustained efforts and transparency are essential to ensure this trend continues and contributes meaningfully to global climate goals. Only way to beat climate change guys

@rukia_ahmed_abdi A downward trend in carbon emissions and an upward trend in renewables and the infrastructure to support the green transition should be paramount.

@rukia_ahmed_abdi Am actually surprised by the positive trend that China is undertaking to counter climate change.

Great news!! It is certainly encouraging, but requires a balanced, nuanced analysis that avoids unhelpful generalizations. The path to a sustainable, low-emission future will require collaborative efforts by all major economies and stakeholders.

@johnte_ndeto I have to agree, too bad the European Union and the US have been sanctioning Chinese green goods just because they can't keep up with them in terms of production. A free market favours the consumer
