LET STOP EXCESSIVE USE OF PESTICIDES BUT RATHER LETS LOOK FOR OTHE ALTERNATIVE WAYS FOR THE SAKE OF PLANET AND HUMANKIND

House debate on pesticides is a positive step in food safety fight.

House debate on pesticides is a positive step in food safety fight, debates reaffirms the need for comprehensive policies that ensure the safety of our food supply, various civic society organisations have played a big role in educating people and advocating stronger regulations and greater accountability in the agro chemical sector,This debate makes me give Heinrich boll foundation climate love for their contribution since 2019 when him and other partners gave a white paper titled pesticides in Kenya and why our health and environment and food security are at stake.extensive research supported the paper and gave reasons why various pesticides must be banned in Kenya the same way they are banned in places like Europe,so they should not be exported to developing countries like Kenya.

What I don't understand is why they are banned in some countries but still exported in other countries our government should stop being greedy and corrupt, people health is very important.

@jane_wangui Pesticides are generally harmful to the environment and to those who consume foods sprayed with them. I think it's a good idea to ban them and look for other eco-friendly alternatives.

@ann_nyambura_542 Very true anything that is not suitable for the farm shouldn't be sold to anyone.

@tabitha_kimani It's time we come up with eco-friendly alternatives to these synthetic harmful pesticides. We need to find ways to protect our crops without harming our environment and our health.
