Climate change mitigation and adaptation has to address shortage of surface and ground well water to support food safety. From microbiomes that reduce the use of synethetic pesticides, drought resistant seeds, smarter in-ground sensor based watering systems that optimally water based on plant type and variety, indoor vertical farming and local urban farming to improved water desalination solutions with least externalities all need to be brought to global scale to address the climate change world that we live in now.
