This in one of the mega project, planning to deploy 52 billion solar panels along highways, aims to revolutionize the energy sector by significantly reducing carbon emissions. It's being projected to produce over four times the annual energy consumption of the United States and offset nearly 29% of current CO2 emissions.
The concept, detailed in Earth’s Future, involves installing solar panels on highways and main roads, integrating clean energy generation with infrastructure. The project represents a bold step towards sustainable energy and could inspire similar initiatives globally, potentially transforming how we generate and utilize renewable energy.
Despite it might have some challanges in its process that will cover 3.2 million kilometers of highways throughout the world. But anyway all is possible.

This is a mega project for sure. 3.2 million kms coverage is no joke. It's a brilliant idea which if implemented successfully will enable saving of land space required for solar installation.
