Textile sorting is becoming more necessary than ever, but this poses a variety of challenges for the circular fashion industry. Manual sorting is still preferred, but is more time consuming and costly. Additionally, for mechanical recycling to be successful, feedstock needs to avoid contaminants, making it challenging to meet demands for proper feedstock without high costs.
Recover is a Business Council member of ReHubs, that aims to address these challenges and more by creating 5 hubs to process textile waste to ease mapping between recyclers and sorters. Read on to learn more:
