Textile sorting is becoming more necessary than ever, but this poses a variety of challenges for the circular fashion industry. Manual sorting is still preferred, but is more time consuming and costly. Additionally, for mechanical recycling to be successful, feedstock needs to avoid contaminants, making it challenging to meet demands for proper feedstock without high costs.
