London's Oxford Street to be fully pedestrianised

London’s Oxford Street will be fully pedestrianised as part of a strategy to transform it into “the leading retail destination in the world,” says mayor Sadiq Khan. The plans are expected to boost economic activity, tax revenues, and jobs. The project will also help tackle air pollution.
