Saudi Arabia installs 750,000 solar panels for Red Sea Project.

Saudi Arabia has completed the installation of 750,000 solar panels as part of the initial phase of its ambitious Red Sea Project. The project, driven by Red Sea Global and backed by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, aims to create an eco-friendly tourist destination. The installation of solar panels in five solar power stations is a significant step toward achieving complete grid independence for the holiday destination. These efforts align with Saudi Arabia's larger vision to position itself as a leading hub for tourism, business, and renewable energy, reducing dependence on oil. With its vast arid regions, Saudi Arabia has great potential to harness solar power, and the Red Sea Project serves as a remarkable example of what can be accomplished through solar energy alone.

It’s a remarkable example of how renewable energy can support large-scale developments and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

Good, but as long as they continue producing so much fossil fuels this is not enough ⚠️
