Healthcare Clinics in sub-saharan Africa benefits from solar energy.

600 health clinics across sub-saharan Africa are able to provide care and treatments to patients outside of day lights hours, thanks to solar- powered lights and off-grid systems provided by d.light ,the global provider of transformational households products and affordable finance for low income households and communities in the developing world. As a result, the clinics can extend their operating hours - including for expectant mothers in labour who would otherwise have given birth in darkness.
