For educating people on the 6th mass extinction with his film Animal

How can we stop destroying everything, especially animal species? How can we live on this planet differently? These are the questions Cyril Dion raises in his new documentary, “Animal”, nominated for the 2022 César ceremony. Five years after “Demain” which showed that there are solutions to the climate crisis, Cyril Dion now tackles another big ecological crisis: the 6th mass extinction. In the last 40 years, 68% of the world's wild vertebrate animal populations have disappeared. The film takes us on a journey around the world with two 16-years-old activists, Bella and Vipulan, to understand this phenomenon, and how we can stop it. The film questions our place as human beings on this planet and helps us understand that we need to live without disturbing the Earth’s balance, and cohabiting with other forms of life. With his films and on his social media accounts, Cyril Dion helps raise awareness on the issues of climate change and biodiversity loss and gives us hope for a better future. For this, he deserves my Climate Love 💚 👉 Read more about the film: https://www.animal-lefilm.com/ (FR)
