This pension fund stops investing in fossil fuel companies

PFZW, a Dutch healthcare workers' pension fund, sold almost all its holdings in fossil fuel companies, including Shell, BP and TotalEnergies, because of a lack of a credible climate strategy. This decision follows an announcement that the fund would disinvest by 2024 from any fossil fuel company that didn't have a "convincing and verifiable" strategy to reach the goals laid out in the Paris Climate Change agreement.
I love to see pledges become actions!
PFZW kept shares in 7 oil and gas companies that "showed a credible strategy to transition from fossil fuels to sustainable energy", and plans to increase its investments in companies that work on energy transition.

That's a significant move by PFZW to divest from fossil fuel companies due to climate concerns. It shows a commitment to aligning investments with sustainability goals outlined in the Paris Climate Agreement.
