Cambridge's King's College chapel will have solar panels on its roof!

492 solar panels will be installed on the roof of the King's College chapel (Cambridge University). These panels will meet the chapel's total energy demand, and contribute to a 1.4% reduction in the college's carbon consumption, which represents a reduction of more than 27 tonnes each year.
The city's councilors said that this presents an opportunity to "promote change" and to show a commitment to a net zero carbon future.

Roof-mounted solar panels are a great way to harness the power of the sun and save on energy bills. A roof offers an ideal location for solar panels as it typically gets a great deal of sun exposure, which is good for maximizing the solar energy production.
